I like the Specialized Gel gloves, as far as comfort and fit.

That said, I was wearing my '05 BG Comp's (same materials as the Gel) when I crashed this fall, and I wasn't impressed. I didn't rash my hand, but I only touched my palm down pretty lightly and holed the glove. If I'd actually skidded on my hand at all, I'm pretty sure it would've been badly rashed.
