Lorri--You know how I love your jerseys (and that Sheila Moon VG wool jacket!). Anyway, yesterday, I was out on a long ride, wearing this year's VeloGirls jersey. As I passed another female cyclist and gave her a hello, she says, "Hey, I have a VeloGirls jersey too." She wasn't wearing it at the time. Anyway, thought you'd like to know. In the DC metro area, there are some VeloGirl wannabees besides myself.

BTW, the jersey always helps me haul a##. I had all magic components yesterday--my Seven Alaris and my VG jersey--allowing me to win a couple informal sprints with other riders. I beat a younger gal, on a long, steep hill! Came close to barfing, though, from the red zone exertion. LOL. I'm getting too old to be challenging the young uns.

I'm actually thinking about submitting a design for your '08 jersey, if you have another contest. Regardless, I definitely will keep ordering your club jerseys, as they are among my favorites.
