I have 2 pairs of gloves that have padding between thumb and index.. One is made by Nashbar, some womens elite glove I think, and the other is made by Specialized Body Geometry glove. I rode the other day in another pair of gloves that didn't have that padding there, guess I didn't realize how nice that padding is until now. HOpe this helps.
