I joined the club early this morning for a tandem/fixie friendly ride. Since I have neither a tandem or a fixie I took my trusted "little blue bike." The 52 mile route was pretty darn flat for this area and I loved every minute of it! We saw some beautiful countryside and few cars once we left the city limits. I was amazed at the number of pay lakes we passed. One even included a "free pool" for swimming. We ventured out to a beautiful park, Bernheim Forest, turned around and headed home. The weather here is unbelievable for late July. When the ride started at 8:15 temps were in the 60's, clear skies, slight breeze, low humidity - one really could not and should not ask for more from the weather gods. It was a great morning on the bike on it time to mow the lawn Guess one can't play all the time.
