I had my first of 3 cervical ESIs (Epidural Steroid Injection) on Friday morning, so I've been doing the conservative thing....wishing all that steroid juice to go and do it's thing in my neck so I can be pain free. So I've been off the bike for a few days (no doubt, Mimitabby has passed me already on BikeJournal!). Yesterday, I worked on my tan in the back yard. Today, DH and I went to see how the "other half" live, by paddling our kayaks around Back Creek in Annapolis - taking in all the fancy homes and yachts that we can never hope to afford. Well, if I had a spare $500K lying around, I might consider getting one of these - which we saw at one dock. DH's taste goes more towards the more humble sailboat - the Freedom Cat Ketch catches his eye, like this .
Tomorrow...I'll be back on the bike and hopefully I'll finish the ride with minimal pain. Wouldn't that be nice!
