The price on the utilikilt is a bit high, sure. But the construction makes them worth it, in my opinion--high quality and extremely durable. Anytime I've been in the utilikilt shop, I've always longingly fondled the kilts and wished they worked better on my own body.
I have a cyclist friend who loves them. He puts one on after his rides, takes his shorts off from underneath, and happily goes about his business with unrestricted, unencumbered ease.
I also like the ease with which they can be taken off. Once the belt is undone, one pull will release all the snaps on the front...(That feature was one that was shown to me by one of the shop guys when I was there looking for a kilt with the aforementioned friend.)
