I was wondering if any of you ride with an SLR camera? And if so, what do you carry it in?

I always bring my P&S on the bike, but there are times when I'd like better camera gear, times when the point of the trip is to take pictures but I get there on my bike. I'd like to be able to bring the camera and a lens or two.

It seems like the best plan would be to use a smallish shoulder bag (rather than an on the bike bag) to keep the bumps absorbed by the camera to a minimum. But I'm wondering if anyone has found a camera-specific bag that is particularly comfortable?
