What a georgous weekend we had here in the Midwest and I finally got to ride outside! Only 19 miles but there was a good couple of rises (by my standards, anyway). I feel spiritual refreshed!
The funny thing was, I brought my bike computer inside to record the miles/speed (because I don't trust my memory from the garage to the house!) and set the computer on top of my laptop to log into BikeJournal. It suddenly started registering speed and logging miles! Now, I'd heard that when you pause at a traffic signal, the magnetic plate under the pavement could mess up your little computer but I didn't realize close proximity to your home computer could do the same thing. Why, I was riding 24 mph while sitting in my chair! Mmmmm..... no, I promise none of these miles will be recorded in bikejournal, CorsairMac!!
