ooh - looky what I got to ride home today!

    Can't stop grinning

No, it's not my new bike. But isn't it beeyoootifull! The first time I've ever tried a road bike! Wow! Whee!

I borrowed it from a colleague who's not much taller than I am, and he feels this bike is too small for him. The reach is way off for me, though, and considering that I'd like to hike up the saddle even higher it would just get worse. A stem short enough to fix that would make the handling go all wobbly, I'm afraid. With my hands on the top flat bit, or on the closest ends of the hoods (? the lowest part!) I had a comfortable reach.

But isn't it a beeeyoootifull bike! Note all the (somewhat) matching details - he was rather proud of them

Winter riding is much less about badassery and much more about bundle-uppery. - malkin
