+1 I'm on a "rest week" and I know my coach wouldn't give it to me if it was going to decondition me. I'd chalk the difficulties up the shock of the accident and the healing, not the inactivity - that may actually be a blessing in disguise for you and once you are all healed up you'll be stronger than before.
