    Review: CW-X Xtra Support Bra

    http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=26859

I’m very picky about bras. I’m large busted (36D) and will only wear sport bras that a) eliminate or greatly reduce vertical movement, b) don’t produce the dreaded uniboob, c) have smooth seams on the interior face to eliminate chafing and d) dry very quickly.

I was very excited to try the new (for Spring 2007) CW-X Xtra Support Bra because it appeared likely to meet all my requirements. And I was not disappointed! I chose this bra for a recent triathlon and was very impressed. While it’s not a “lift and separate” type of bra, it’s not a “smash ‘em and mash ‘em bra” either. It’s tailored to give a nice bust line while still providing good support, and it looked great under my Tyr Tri Top!

The bra dried out quickly during the bike portion of the triathlon. I was completely comfortable during the run. Absolutely no chafing and very little bounce was evident. In fact, I forgot I was even testing the bra as it did its job so well and allowed me to concentrate on putting one foot in front of the other towards the finish line!

Here's a shot of 7 of us @ the tri, all tired but happy. From left: me, Lindsay, Abra (4th place overall!), Molly, Molly's sister Mary, Renata's daughter Carina, and Renata.
