    Now I'm even more confused.

    Maybe I'm using the wrong term.
    I'll try again:

    What does it mean when someone is riding a bike and "toe clipping" occurs?

    Seeking answer to the above to aid in the purchase of a new road bike.
    (Got my eye on the Specialized Dolce Vita)
