I work at the academic health center where jeannierides is hospitalized, and after consulting with her SO John, gave her a call today and then stopped by for a very brief visit. She'd just had a PT session and was sitting in a wheelchair looking amazingly good for someone who's been through what she has. Way to go, Jeannie! She asked me to tell everyone hi and relay how grateful she is for the good wishes, expressions of concern and encouragement that all of you wonderful people have posted and snailmailed. I did print out and take hardcopies of the forum posts to her today so that she can read the great stuff you guys have written to her. Jeannie expects that next week she will be transferred to an inpatient rehab facility. This sounds like progress.
