I had an intersting ride today. It was 26 degrees at 8am, when I would have had to leave to go the start for our club ride, and that is just too cold for me. But, I got an email that a subset of club members were going to do it at 11 when it was expected to be in the 50s. So, we went, but only the really fast men (and me) came out, so I thought I would be riding alone. However, early in the ride I got to an intersection of 3 roads (south texas girls will know, its where toutant beuraguard, scenic loop and bourne stage road all meet) and low and behold 3 girls from 3 different starting directions arrived there going the same pace. It was windy, so we were able to work together and had a great ride. Ride start was in 50s, ended in high 60s, bright sunshine. Mimi commented earlier, that a strange thing about south texas is that temperatures can span such a wide range in a single day, imagine going from 26 to 68 in one day! It does make it hard to dress for a commute though. I hope you all had nice rides today too. Its kinda late in the day and no one has started a thread yet.
