My wedding dress has hung in my parents closet for nearly 4 years. It isn't preserved, it just hangs there in the garmet bag.

Mine too...but in MY guest closet. I need to get off my duff and do something about it! I like your thinking though...the idea of more $$ to buy bike stuff is a BIG incentive. Hell, for what I paid for that sucker, I could have bought one hell of a sweet bike. My how priorities change!
