Welp, if you wandered into the vortex of the inanity thread, you'd find that signing up isn't that easy to find

This will probably work: look along the top for the menu and find "rides" (after home journal riders .... etc...) and click on "manage rides." That pulls up some rides - for me, it pulled up the ones in my state. There's a box up in the right hand corner that says "what state" and I changed it to "all."

Then the first ride was the "Valentine's Day/ Shoot Cupid" ride and I clicked and joined. There's supposed to be (virtual) fudge for everybody who finishes
