It doesn't seem swollen.

The pain feels almost like a burning and radiates down the outside of my foot to the arch area.

Google bone spurs. They can cause that kind of pain you are talking about. I have read that calcuim helps. If you are not getting enough the body will leach calcium from your bones causing bone spurs. They are hook shaped lesions. I would take time off from running. You could try biking and see if it hurts it. At least biking is low impact. I am going to the dr's today for foot pain.
