How many miles do you average per year?

I have only been riding 6 years and despite various times my back has not been too good, plus a couple of injuries I have managed to clock up 6000 miles.

For me this is brilliant, I have never been into sport and to suddenly start cycling at the age of fifty, I am more than pleased with myself.

I know there are many of you who cycle an amazing amount of miles per year.

The reason I put this thread up was when I was reading Caligurl's homepage, well worth looking at: http://caligurl.com/bikergurl/ Some great pics but I was so amazed that she has ridden 14,555 in her two years of riding!

So, let's hear how many you have done and whether it was on a road or MTB.
