Am I the only person how rode today? (being 2000 miles from family does have its advantages)
53 miles - A te person was supposed to meet me , but she was a no show , so I would up being the only female. We rode down to lake Elsinore. A bad and possibly tasteless joke : How did Lake Elsinore get its name? when the Spanish were exploring the area. a foot solider bent down and tasted the water. His Commandante asked Him "Juan, how is the water?" He replied "it tastes like hell, Senor!"
Anyway. the guys had dropped me (what I get for riding with guys old enough to be my sons), but they were lost, so I took the lead again. We got to Murietta and the gut wanted to do some mondo climbing thing, which would add 25 miles. I already had an extra 10 to them and I wanted to do stuff aprez-velo , so I passed and straight back to Corona. Had a burrito for lunch , and then got stuck in a looky-loo jam coming back
