Yup, it's just that it has "police" on it that makes it so you need qualifying ID to purchase it. I've found "police" bikes actually much heavier than most in that price range... not sure if it's special stuff to reinforce the bike, or just that most departments buying bikes for their officers seem not to know much *about* bikes...
xh and I had matching guide gold/black cycling jackets, helmets and similar colors on our bikes... both carried backpacks, etc. People mistook us for bike cops all the time. I didn't mind because it meant people would watch a little more and be a little more careful not to hit us...![]()
