I had set my mind on doing the tour around the lake (that's Lake Zurich) three times yesterday... a round is 68 k.

Got up early and packed plenty of food. But I should have remnded myself of the fact that I had not really ridden anything over 70 k lately:

Alas, the second round turned into a fight between me and my legs (I had one the fight between me and my butt after round 1), and I was getting noticeably slower, so I turned in after 2, still setting the in-house record at 130 k and about 5 hours in the saddle. It's supposed to be training to improve, not destroying myself, right?
