Didn't ride to a Latte', but did ride to my chiropractor's visit.

I rode the Seven into town, rather than the commuter, since I wanted to take advantage of the federal holiday (I was off work) and show them my "good" bike. We also used it to discuss the pain I was having during the Seagull Century (since it was quiet still in the a.m., they were both available to chat). I could barely lift my arm to signal a turn by the end of the ride, and they felt the the pain was actually caused by a compressed nerve in the neck, rather than just elbow tendonitis. Everything flows "downstream" which is why my arm hurt so badly, out to the back of my hand.

So, some major massage and traction was in order and I left nearly 2 hours (!) later. Everything was still sore last night, but this a.m. seems to be feeling better (knocking on the simulated woodgrain of this computer desk!).

Oh, and even better news...the 14 miles or so I rode into town, put me at 2,005 miles for the year!! That's a personal best for me! I haven't counted up my commuting days yet, but I'm certain I surpassed my goal of 56 days for the year (the number I commuted last year).
