Headwinds - they suck and always will

I deal with them by dropping my gears and using it as a time to practice my spinning - gotta find a bright side in everything, huh?

Food... no, I haven't really changed anything. What you are eating sounds just fine to me.

I have 2-3 pieces of toast with olivani (not butter - I can't eat butter anymore, too rich, and the various soy based margerines just taste like plastic)

I eat again when I get to work, usually about 45-50 minutes after I have showered and changed. I have an early lunch and get a bacon and egg toasted sandwich or one of the yummy bagels from the cafe downstairs.

I have a second "lunch" no later than 2:30pm so I don't have food sitting heavy in my tum when I head home, which is about 1/2 uphill. Again, its something savoury on some kind of bread.

I try and eat only when hungry, as I am trying to lose weight, but am aware that I need to eat to fuel as well.

I have a great food replacement protein shake at work which is very low in both sugars and fats which I have with low fat milk if I am hungrier than usual.

How long is your commute, CC? Maybe delaying the morning coffee (if you have one) til you get to work would help with the "pee" factor?

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
