Talk about coincidence - my bf was clearing out his wardrobe today and we were both admiring his grand total of 10 event jersey's!

They range from one he got for doing a local century ride to those he got doing Gran Fondo sportif rides in Italy.

( Gran Fondo's : fantastically organised races in Italy - usually around 130 miles and often up mountains. Normally at least 1000 entrants ranging from semi-pro's to decent club riders. They're such good fun. )

The Italian jersey's are especially cool as they tend to be snazzy designs. The fondo's are normally run each year and you tend to get a different jersey design for each year. Also, not many English people do these things so it's nice to have something a bit unique.

On saying that, he rarely wears them! We both tend to train/ride in our club kit so his event jersey's are all in very good condition.

Still, it's nice to have a jersey to commerate the event. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt etc.

Socks sounds like a cool idea...
