Ok, so I read this thread last night, and I was going to reply, but then it was an effort to log in (I'm on travel and not using my normal computer), so I didn't. I was going to say that I had a couple of dreams about my bike being stolen from my garage. After about 3 of these in a row, I decided it was time to get some locks for the garage. (Our garage is detached, and for some reason some less desirable people find it amusing to walk up and down our alley). Once I got the locks, the dreams stopped. But then, after reading this thread last night, and looking at the winter glove selection here on TE, last night I dreamt I was riding my bike and I couldn't shift because my fingers were frozen and I didn't have any gloves. So now I'm thinking I definitely need to order some gloves!
So this doesn't mean to discount the alternative metaphorical interpretations, I have metaphorical dreams all of the time. But is there a legitimate reason you might be afraid of your bike being stolen?
The best part about going up hills is riding back down!
