Okay, I have to say thanks to all you girls. You have inspired me and helped me a lot.
I ordered a road id and now have that for safety while riding.
My DH sat me down in the living room last weekend and showed me how to change the tire on my bike and then after he walked me through it, I went through the steps and did it. I feel comfortable enough to know I can change a tube now if need be. Not sure if I will be able to get the thing pumped back up all the way. Good grief those little pumps are hard to keep pumping with

I rode my first organized ride last weekend, sick and all. We went 26 miles, which is not much for some, but a huge accomplishment for us. Next ride we hope to do 50 and that will be the end of next month.
I haven't ridden again since, because I have been sick but hopefully will feel better this weekend and will be able to get out for at least a short ride.

I haven't lost any weight yet, but I am confident it will start coming off as I get more consistent.

Anyway, I was inspired by 1 girl I knew from another forum to start riding again. From there I found this site and you all have inspired and helped me all the more.
Thank you all so much. I hope to continue to ride and be involved on this site for a long time.
