theav - thanks for answering all my questions. I ride both road and mountain so Im looking forward to hitting the roads and trails on my return to Aust.

Yep Canberra sure is chilly in Winter but I think Northern California will have toughened me up a bit (I try to keep riding thru winter here even when it snows).

Good to know I have someone in Canberra to get all the good riding info from. I hope we can get together for a ride when I get to the ACT.
