We were never athletic--either RM or myself...unless you count days on the "Slip and Slide" (For those old enuf to remember that..lol! )

But...going down the road to the NYC Marathon in 2002--helping each other across the line of that finish-- did more than just make us cousins, it truely made us friends and bonded us in life like no other experience.

Each of these crazy and fun tri's or any endeavor--weither we are supporting each other or doing it together, bonds us like only other TE athletes can understand?! It's this weird crazy world of going through physical challenges.....with all it's fun and friendship, that makes us even closer..?!

Now, that I've been officially "welcomed" to the TE board---I feel like I get the fun of "extended family"..WOW! What an honor....

Now...off to find a bike fit---fix the neck---get a "real" bike--- and hit the road again to train for the next one you'all talk me into! ha ha.....

And yes, I've been "lurking" because you women are awesome! but i also feel a bit intimidated being in your company! And in case anyone wonders---I'm so proud of my cuz--that I beam with pride when i talk about all she's accomplished in life------Because as I was reminded this week, "everything in life translates to tri's"....

Thanks for the welcome and group hug!!!!!! xo
