high protein energy bars. They look like a bar of trail mix. Will try and report back soon.

    Has anyone else tried these?

Oh.. heh! Just saw the other thread.

I tried it today and it was pretty good. Lots of peanuts, chocolate chips, dried cranberries. It had sort of a chocolately center. It really was like a stick of trail mix.

    Will definitely eat again.

I tried one last night on call. I was disappointed. I like Paydays just the way they are, and hated the chocolate center. There's a characteristic "high protein" taste that I don't much like either. Could they make a Payday that looks and chews like a Payday, but is actually made of....say....broccoli?

That does sound a lot better. I'll have to see if I can find one of the non-chocolate ones!

    Thumbs up

Can I jump in? I picked up one of the peanut & caramel ones in Novi, MI (business trip) today to munch on during my drive home. To me it tasted quite like the regular Payday but maybe less salty. This is definitely something good to pick up while stopping out on the road which I do sometimes rather than carry so much with me when I ride.
