I'm ineligible too since we're family and all. Should mine be selected the 2nd runner up gets the sports beans. Kinda like the Miss Amerca pagent when Vanessa Williams...well ya know.

Mmm, yes. I think fishdr's point was a "what if". What if the winner was "inspired by" and yet said source of inspiration is not the first eligible runner-up. I think in that case a bag or two goes to the source of inspiration, in addition to the main prize to the first eligible runner-up.

Peachy! I didn't mean to make it complicated

Just think - soon you'll have a new screen name. Have you figured out how to rename yourself and maintain your profile/postcount/links to your posts?

Nope. I'm hoping one of the webmistresses will know.

    Tweaks:

    Hellenback Duck
    Little Red Riding Duck

(don't you love how we're just tweaking, not voting on the ones you suggested )

OK. The polls are closed. I'm gonna throw in my sneaky extra ballots now and declare some winners:
    1) The popular vote winner is Quackered. 5 bags to fishdr for that one. Buuuut ... as I read it, it rhymes with knackered, which is kinda de-motivating.
    2) My favorite before the voting was Ferruginous. A tough little species on the rebound from near extinction. Maybe the iron in its name gave it that resilience. But I guess it's too subtle and serious for a screen name, since only Betagirl and I voted for it, so I'll go with another one. But 1 bag to Betagirl for coming up with my favorite.
    3) 1 bag also to second runner up TsPoet for RubyDucky -- an excellent pun on rubber ducky, and a catchy rhythm to the name. But as some have pointed out, I'm already stretching it by giving my Trek the name Ruby.
    4) No bags to the winners (Trek420 and myself), although I do have a Madison memento for Trek420 when I see her in a couple of weeks. I've decided to call myself Duck on Wheels. I think the imagry is suitably incongruous and clumsy, and yet here I am actually riding. So the name is at the same time self-deprecating and encouraging. And it plays subtly on dh's home town, but without insulting believers amongst us and without promising too much. We'll see when I get home if I can actually make it to Hellenback. I know I can do the distance, but can I do the hills?!?

Sooo ... fishdr, Betagirl and TsPoet, if you pm me your addresses and state your flavor preferences, I'll get your beans in the mail pdq.

Now to find out how to change my screen name ...

I tried the green ones (lemon/lime) today. Very tasty. Can't really say whether they powered me up, but I guess they work the same as any sugar/salt/potassium tablet would do, consumed together with water. Or like eating Gatorade or cytomax powder and drinking the water separately -- only not so messy .

I happen to have two packets of orange left. Guy in the store said they taste like orange creamsicles. Does that sound tempting, or would you rather have blueberry, or lemon/lime, or tropical fruit punch flavor? I need to get some more anyway and can hit the store tomorrow.
