Oh my gosh!! Just got home from a week away and looky here... Lise placed in her AG!!! WHOO HOOO!!!!!! So happy for you!!! I want to hear ALL about it!

Lise - I just read your race report and it gave me goosebumps!! Congratulations girl - you totally rocked it!!!!! Awesome job on the medal, I'm surprised your niece even gave it back to you

Great job sticking it out through the wind! I'm originally from southern Illinois, and unfortunately know the Chicago wind just a little too well, and I am very impressed.

Also, how amazing that your dad was there with you. I got a little choked up when I read it. Can't wait to see the pics!

Thanks! I like your tag line, "Official Triathlete!" On the race course yesterday, I yelled to one woman, "You WILL finish this, because you ARE a triathlete!" She smiled.

I have a shirt I made when I ran the marathon, that says "I run with my dad". It has a picture of him, and his name. I'm going to get another one made the same way, that says, "I swim-bike-run with my Dad". You know I'll post pix! L.

Congratulations Lise!!!!! It's awesome that you won a medal. Terrific news and it must have been special with your mom (and Dad) to be there to share it with you. Thanks for the inspiration.

I am counting down the days to my first Tri; the Subaru Tri on June 25th in Naperville, IL. I will be happy to get my finishers medal!
