I rather like the idea of expanding punctuation to include emoticons, though. Sometimes change is good!

What amazing pictures! Thank you for posting them, Brandi. My cat Isaac sat here and watched very closely, although I think he likes the little arrow on the screen much more than photos of baby birds.

Incredible that they go from egg to life on their own in less than a month. Little wonderful creatures.

As a little kid I would often think "How do you get everything you need to keep something alive (heart, lungs,soul etc) into something so tiny?"
I still think it a lot even tho' in the meantime one has been to School and intellectually learned that such things are possible

Don't feel badly - and thanks for sharing the pics!!! We'd just been talking on a separate thread about apostrophes, and don't worry - it is a very misunderstood punctuation device!!
