I don't find eagle watching the slightest bit relaxing any more :-(

I'm pretty sure the fuzzy stuff that was waving about in front of one egg earlier today was not attached to the egg. It was something in the nest. I saw pappa or mamma turning the eggs and the fluff got pushed aside. When the eggs were turned I saw one (of the) hole(s), a smallish one. What I'm wondering now is whether one of the chirpy/squeeky noises I was hearing when the wind wasn't so loud might have been a chick chirping from inside the egg. It was more "raw" and seemed closer than the songbirds in the background. Anybody else think they're hearing chick sounds?
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

I just saw the replay of the "little head." It is definitely a piece of nest fluff, not a head poking out. Good switch, though, someone brought dinner home!

Now I am going riding, so will miss when it goes live this morning. Hope there is good news when I get home.

The property owner apparently has a much better video quality, and told news people he could see the baby _inside_ a hole in the egg. Yesterday.

The two adults just had quite an enthusiastic conversation. Too bad you can't see the live feed right now - it's not too jumpy today.

I wish I could ride today- way too rainy and windy. Instead - I'm sorting through toys and doing laundry. Oh what fun!

mom or dad just flew off the nest. Still 2 eggs. There is a black spot on the front egg, but I have no idea if it's a hole or not. There's no fuzz, that's for sure. I really hope they hatch - and soon!
