    Godzilla!

Yes, I've had him since July, but he never got a formal introduction. (I was waiting on parts.) And yes, I named him Godzilla, because what else do you call a Giant Iguana?
He's not quite as impressive as his name implies--it's a second-hand, practical bike for groceries/commuting/just tootling around if I feel like it.

Godzilla is not exactly fashion-conscious, hence the red panniers on a blue-green to purple fade bike, and the white saddle.

I replaced the seat post with one with a more modern saddle clamp (that wasn't rusted to heck), and replaced the bottle cage that the original owner had on there with the stainless steel ones. After some debate on whether to put the lock mounting bracket on the second set of bolts, I decided that there wasn't quite enough room and put the other cage on there. The pedals are the ones that came with my road bike, and I'm contemplating switching them for dual-sided ones at some point, because I'm so used to riding clipless. I have gray ergonomic grips, but I can't actually get the blue ones off. Last remaining thing is a mirror, which is somewhere in my apartment...

The reflective tape is actually black under indirect light, so it's a little more subtle than it looks.

What you can't see well is the tape on the vertical support of the rack. I still have about a foot of the tape left. I'm still trying to decide what to do about extra rear and side visibility. I'm thinking of getting some silly reflective stickers to put on the rear triangle and cover up some paint defects while I'm at it. I also have a set of reflective stickers for spokes, so I'll be putting those on there at some point. Just needs a seat bag of some description for when I don't want to ride with the panniers.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Nice! A perfect name ... and don't real iguanas kind of have striped tails?
