Thank you so much for posting the pictures. Great to see her in action! I loved the one at the finish--she looks sunburned and so happy. I noticed how the race number curls up at the sides. That number goes through so much during such a long hard day! Great pictures. Thanks, too, for hanging in with her and being the tangible representative of all the TE support.

Wish you could've been there! It was fabulous! PLUS, I got invited to Mommelisa's house for dinner - she's pretty fabulous too! I'm thinking I'm pretty luck to have met these really great women this weekend - Denise, Melisa and Denise's cousin Terrie! Oh, and Tony and Spencer were pretty cool too!

Thank you so much! It was great meeting you and da boys! They are little fire crackers, and soo cute! I knew you and my cousin would get along. Her and I are pretty much like twin sisters.
I think we should all get together- with Melisa of course! And maybe fly in all the out of staters for one big TE party!! Imagine how much fun we would have?! So now I need to register for Solano beach, and figure out the rest of my race calendar... Gonna have so cal on it for sure! Summers coming so we will wind down out here. Suppose to be mid 90's this week... UGH the heat is coming!

It was my first tri ever in '03, did it last year for the 3rd time. August 13 this year. International distance, fun, relaxed, and maybe, maybe this year I won't finish last. I've always done it with other newbies; after the 1st year they were all much less trained than me. We had a motto that we all stuck together, but for the last two years that meant I really held myself back. This year I expect to go as hard as I can, and see what I can do.
I would love a party in AZ to celebrate with Denise, Melisa, Tracy, and the TE gals! L.
