Hello friends of TE. A friend of mine was given this as a gift, but unfortunately she is waaay too tall for a size 51. Knowing how rough the previous 6 months have been she emailed to say this would be waiting for me when I'm ready .

    Say hello to Debbie!

Hi Everyone Thank you for all the support and good energy :-) The friend is like my sister. We are Yin/Yang and love each other very much. I did get a chance to ride her around a few minutes and she rides like a dream. Last fall I put this exact bike on layaway but when my soon-to-be-ex-husband dropped the "D" bomb right before knee surgery, I had to cut expenses and the Dolce went back on the sale floor. That's why this is such a miracle - it's a twin of the one I had to give up.

Unfortunately I cannot keep her at the house this year and ride her.. Things are not going well with the divorce. I am 100% sure he would sell it while I was at work one day and keep the proceeds.

@ Oakleaf: Thank you for asking. The knee is slooooowly coming along. Unfortunately I sustained a fall on 1/29 that partially tore the ACL graft. Also, like a dummy I pushed the rehab too hard and caused a lot of scar tissue to build up due to the inflammation. 2 weeks ago I started working with a personal trainer to strengthen the lower half but Bottom line, I won't be doing any centuries this year.
