Okay ladies - I hope this is an appropriate posting.
I work for Michigan Technological University, and I just learned about an awesome bike-related project going on. A Tech professor, a PhD student and some staff members have started a business in Kenya to provide flat-proof inner tubes for bicycles. If you read the attached article, I think you'll agree that it's a great cause.
Not asking anybody to donate - just circulating the word. Well, of course I hope they make their goal. I'm upset that the article I learned about this from (our daily email newsletter) seems to have vanished. It got more into the background of the project.
