Purchased a pair of Mavic Tourmaline Shoes online for an upcoming tour.
My bike shop doesn't carry that brand.

Want to install SPD cleats.

I've done this for other shoes but am confused with this particular shoe.
Mavic's website had no information.

When I contacted the online seller (who we would all recognize) they responded with a YouTube video which was generic in nature an didn't address my specific questions.

The shoes came with 4 plates. When I remove the insole, there is a Mavic sticker where my other shoes have had a opening or a compartment that I can pop open. It doesn't peel off readily so I'm not sure if it is supposed to come out or not.

Do the plates go between the cleats and the out sole (doesn't look like it) or do you think I should remove the sticker and see if the plates fit underneath the insole?

Any idea why there are 4?

Thanks. Hope I can get the info here. Since I didn't buy the shoes from my LBS, I don't want to take their time with putting the cleats on for me.
