Hello and welcome. Your new bike sounds great.
There is lots of info about saddles in the forum. Here's a good starting point:

Hi everyone,
Just joined the forum recently and stopping in to say "Hi". I have done mostly mountain biking but just last month I started road biking and bought my first road bike ever, it's a Zenith Comp Jamis and rides real nice.
I have joined a local group here in Orlando and we are going to ride the 100 miles for Tour de Cure on March 18th. I've never participated in an event like this, so hopefully I can make it! We shall see!
How long does it take to brake into the saddle? Boy, my pelvic area is really sore and gets swollen, that I can't sit down. Any tips or suggestions?
Ride safe![]()

Hi, izzy! Welcome to TE. Sounds like the saddle may not be set up properly or not the right fit for you. The suggestions above are a good idea.
