On the road AGAiN.

I am off on another sand sculpting adventure. This time to south Carolina for their State fair. I believe this our 17th year there. I am always nervous before I leave for any trip. My DH thinks I should have it down by now. But it is always hard to leave home (I have only been home for 5 days since last trip) and levae my furr babies. I am glad I have good friends to watch them but my heart still aches. I am glad I amtraveling with my DH and all. But well you know furr babies can be hard to leave behind.
Anybody here from Columbia SC?

No, but I lived there once upon a time! I used to love the Hunter/Gatherer bar (?) or restaurant (good food) and Adrianna's coffee shop (at 5 points). Also loved the EarthFare grocery chain Hope you have fun!

And I know how you feel about leaving. Even though I do day trips all the time, all over the country, I still worry about forgetting something on the way out or losing something (like my camera!) on the flight back. When I'm gone longer I always worry about the cats.

I really need to try the Hunter/gather place. Have yet to go there. My fav is the Deli in 5 points! And there is a great thai food place called Baan swan. Went to earthfare last night! We are staying in a hotel with a full kitchen, so I pick up some easy dinner stuff. Stir fry is always easy on the road.
The weather is wonderful here too, so fallish!
