    Aquabike Training Plan

Does anyone know of any training plans for a Half IM swim/bike? I haven't been able to find anything. I'm new at this and not sure how to train, especially when/how I should start to taper off before the event.

Also, if any one has a recommendation for a clip on aero bar for my road bike, I'd be interested. I ride a 2005 Scott CR1 Pro.Not sure I'll use one but thought I should consider it.

    Thanks!

You might look at Beginner Triathlete. There is a HIM training plan there. You could just omit the running part.

I print it out every year, but then don't really use it. I don't need to do as much swimming as he has in his plan and there is no time for weight work or yoga. Both of which are really important to me. But I do use it as guide towards how much running I should be doing.

Thanks, Veronica, it looks like a good basic plan. I like the Beginner Triathlete website, lots of good info for a newb.

I was looking for this too, no luck, so I'm kinda winging it. If you find anything aquabike specific, post it here!
