maybe it was just an assumption showing the results of the standard cultural conditioning that boys do all sorts of things (like riding a bike) and girls stay home, talk on the phone, bake and act silly.
Except for my hips I don't have that many curves and since I wear my hair in a buzz, most people assum I am male until they hear my voice. I just smile and go my way.

I have missed being on here! So.... went on a rare afternoon ride today in a neighborhood. And some boys were sitting on the curb talking about 11 or 12 years old. They see me riding down the street I was going a out 15 mph and I hear the following : hey look at that guy ...he is going pretty fast ....... hey dude! I smile and wave. ... HEY THAT'S A GIRL!! Cracked me up! Just. Ant figure out how with all my curves, how did they ever think I was a guy!? I didn't think I was going THAT fast. Lol. New diet go fast and you ail look slimmer!
