That is a BEAUTIFUL BIKE! ...I also got a bike for Mother's Day. I am new to road biking, so have gone a little more conservatively with my Cannondale Synapse Alloy5. It has all 105 components except the Tektro brakes. It has the BB30 bottom bracket. It is a beautiful brushed aluminum and white with "scrollie" designs on the top bar, seat, and other places. I've tried to upload pics, but my college kids aren't home to show me what I am doing wrong.lol. Happy Trails!

I just have that bike too! I had it on layaway and my boyfriend got it out for my birthday last weekend. I LOVE it! It's my first road bike.

    Welcome New Babies

Wow you gals must be really good moms. What great mom day gifts! Congrats on all the new babies. I'm wondering if we need to throw a group baby shower??!!? Lots of new babies in 2011.

I'm hoping the weather will hold this afternoon so we can take the twins for a stroll through the park.

The twins aren't allowed out in the rain and we just took the fenders off my Trek and sent it to the new DIL to-be for the summer.

(and I totally get it about needing our kids to help with pic uploading thing!)

    Happy Riding Everyone!!!

SmittyKitty~by "twins" do you mean 2 bikes? a tandem? or real twin children?
By the way- I like your slogan: Slow but having fun!
You are right, I did come to the right place with Team Estrogen. Lots of info and tons of encouragement. Hopefully I can pass it on too.

The Specialized Twins: my Ruby and DH's Roubioux. Santa showed up a little late with them (January). Luv Santa. Luv my new bike.

And yes, I am slow (getting a little faster), but having so much fun biking.
