Poor Tari is 9 month old. She is (supposed to be) a show dog. She lives with me, and has had a tough time of it! Her latest oops involved chasing my shiba-x through a barbed wire fence. Tari lost and has had to have surgery to repair her rear leg and wear a "no bite" collar for the last 2.5 weeks. I took it off her last night... Revenge is sweet!

Aw, poor thing (so cute!) I think her oops qualifies her for the "bad ideas" thread. Was the shiba-x hurt as well? One of my sisters has a shiba. He behaves very much like a cat.

Yes, my Shiba-x, Finn, is an interesting character, independent, smart, demanding, extremely affectionate *on her terms*.
She has been running through this fence for years, no harm at all. I guess the thicker skin and thick, shortish, shiba fur protects her.
Tari got her stitches out yesterday, the vet was very happy with the state of her wound healing. But, I'm supposed to be keeping her quiet and wearing the E collar for a few more days.

Awesome shots, Lisa. Sheeba and Suki are gorgeous. I love that room, too. Very pretty!

Lovely kitties! And lovely cacti too! The cats don't try to eat them, do they?
(Only asking because a friend's cat did try eating a cactus...)
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Good luck with that. The squirm factor grows exponentially after the stitches come out.

My cats periodically give it a tentative try, but let's just say they decide against it. Part of the reason I grow cactus indoors instead of regular house plants.

My sheltie Loki is in the front here. I've had her for a year now after my friend found her shivering in the pouring rain out in the middle of the suburbs. I adopted her shortly thereafter.
