I've been on a quest for the last year or so for hiking pants and capris. I bought some Outdoor Research pants last year that I like, but don't love. Today, however, I fell in love with the Isis Marcy Capri. I have a smallish waist, but my butt and thighs are a little more, um, substantial. The Isis pants are cut a more generously where I need it. Plus, the rise is slightly longer than what I typically find, so I have the butt coverage I need. They're a nice light weight, have a number of handy pockets, and are really cute. Granted, I haven't hiked in them yet, but I'm pretty confident I'll like 'em. I can't wait to try them out. TE doesn't sell them; I got them at Altrec.
