    MORE snow *sigh*

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Since yesterday afternoon we've gotten another 2 feet of snow and it's STILL coming down. The snowplows are nowhere to be seen. I can't even tell where my driveway is.

After 3 years of drought we finally have an above average snow year. Not to sound ungrateful, but it's been snowing since early November. Can we stop now????

I've got skiers from Hawaii visiting. At least it gives a tiny bright side to the wintery weather.

Hey, at least you can continue to x country ski. Although not compensation for the difficulty it causes in general. They plow so fast here, that every time I think about skiing down my street, it's too late.

Sheesh, what is it with this year? We have snow forecast for Monday (though not two feet, thank goodness).

    Wow roadie gal.

Hmm after some spring thaws here for last few days, it's about to snow sometime early evening today. And it feels like snow is imminent. I only went cycling for coffee & muffin, then grocery shopping. When I see puddles turn to ice, it's never a good thing, especially along roadside and cars are whipping along.

I feel for you gals. We are relishing spring weather here in NC, and I feel so incredibly grateful as I am not a winter lover at al. It's supposed to get cool again late next week, but still, we're done with snow, and we're not getting much rain either. Just lots of sunshine and spring flowers.

Patience, I guess, is what you need now. Spring is coming!

I hope you had a chance to enjoy the all-too-rare sunshine that happened in our area today... we were up in Arlington on an organized ride and the sun was out all day...just kinda cold at the start line, but that was okay...NO RAIN... awesome.

I did get out. Got sprinkled on for a few minutes, but I got to ride. It was great. I got home and the SUN came out. I went out and gardened for a couple of hours! DH and I are planning a "real" ride tomorrow, hopefully with our new bikes (if weather holds). Thank you weather Gods!

here in Hot humid headwindy houston we have gone from winter temps and wind to summer temps, humidity and winds . Today it was 85 degrees, 80% humidity, winds in the 20-25 range. The tree frogs are out, the japanese beetles are back, the bradford pears skipped blossoming and are in full leaf, the red bud has come and gone, and the ac is on. The sun is lovely but everything else is a bit strange weather wise. We are supposed to have winds in the 25 mph range all week along with high temps, lots of sun, high humidity. Guess I get in a lot of resistance miles this week.

    endless

Autumn's supposedly here in Australia but certainly not in Western Australia. Temps have been hovering around 30C+ for a while & no end in sight. I'm not complaining but we do eventually need rain..eventually

Pinkbikes is doing the Great WA bike ride down south & i'm sure it's a welcome change from Brissie weather . When i pick her up on Tueday it's supposed be about 34C

We have loads of snow on the ground, and every other day or so a little more comes drizzling down. But I just ignore it. The sun, when it's out, is WARM, and the snow is slowly compacting and diminishing. Just a grumpy old winter shaking out a few final flurries

My Hawaii people are soo-o-o-o happy! Five new inches last night and more predicted for tonight!

The littlest kids aren't so little anymore, but they had a great time throwing snowballs up the slanted roof of the Pig Pen Saloon and watching them roll down. Of course they missed a few and there were a few close calls with other patrons of the Pig Pen and the ski area. My SIL mused about the saying "...Can't hit the broad side of a barn..." and her daughter corrected her that in this case it was:

"Can't hit the broad side of a bar."
