Yeah, I know. I love sesame oil. I add extra to hot and sour soup for the smell alone...

    Let's see:
B: Tea, a few pieces of smoked salmon
L: I skipped it--we need to go shopping!
S1: Whole-milk chai latte, huge cinnamon bun/doughnut hybrid at the local coffee shop. I've been having glazed doughnuts and cinnamon roll cravings for a week (where's that thread?). I ate the whole thing.
    S2: A few chili powder-coated dried mangoes
D: Salad with a chicken breast, a sprinkling of cheese, and oil and vinegar dressing. Slice of toast.
S3: I'm probably going to have an apple. Maybe something desserty.

I'm justifying my caloric intake by saying it's around 10 degrees outside and the apartment is FREEZING.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

There appears to be a trend...

(Replace the tofu with chicken, the orange pepper with a red one, and get rid of the mushrooms and that's probably dinner at some point this weekend...)

    Now I want pineapple...

My diet was awful yesterday so won't post it - I really need to do some 'advance cooking'. Calorie-wise it was fine, but the content was not. I also had less protein than usual and am starving...I KNOW better

I really am enjoying this thread as it is giving me good ideas - thanks!

Same for me the day before. Hadn't shopped for so long. There was nothing fresh in the house!

today's was fairly typical steel cut oatmeal, banana, apple, 1 slice homemade whole wheat bread with dill relish and turkey cold cuts and a serving of rice and almond crackers with hummus as a snack. Dinner however was exceptionally tasty- moroccan style chicken, spiced with tumeric, cinnamon, ginger and garlic with raisins, olives, onion, garlic and homemade moroccan preserved lemons as a garnish on couscous. My adaptation of a moroccan tagine with a crock pot.

B - Flax seed and berry cereal.

    S - Black tea with 1 sugar.

D - "Clam chowder" made with tofu chunks sauteed in kelp, thyme, and olive oil as the clams, then potato, onion, carrot, celery, almond milk, vegetable broth, and spices for the rest of the soup.
