Can't do it all . . .

Since mine and DH's salary was cut 2 years ago, I've been working 2 jobs. A 9-5 and along with a freelance business that I started. I also have two little kids (1 and 5). The extra income from freelance has been a life-saver.

2 years and 2 kids--I'm getting tired. The last few months I've been feeling like I haven't been able to give work the focus and dedication that I need to.

Today its all starting to crash down on me. I have received several nasty emails from a client. And although I recognize his reaction as being over-the-top, unreasonable and very unprofessional--he strikes a point. I have not been as focused on his project as I should be.

I did fully provide the service and time that I quoted--I have not gone above and beyond--which is what I normally would do. I am to the point that I want to resign from this project. But we need the money. And I was subcontracted through a good friend, I don't want to disappoint them. However, I honestly don't know how I can provide this person the service they want while maintaining a high standard of work ethic and dedication to my day job.

I'm worn out.

Limewave, I don't have any advice but know that I am deeply moved by the tremendous pressure your family is under during these hard economic times. I don't know why it has to be so bad and why so many people have to struggle. Keeping you near in thought and prayer in the coming days.
