    WTB: long-sleeve jersey

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I need a long-sleeve jersey as the temps cool, and I do not have the wherewithal to pay the high prices for a new one. If you happen to have a long-sleeve jersey in your closet that you would like to part with let me know!

Jersey sizing is always difficult for me due to how I am built. Medium or large, depending on the maker - though a large would certainly help me to layer. Iam also looking to buy other winter gear, but one thing at a time

I went all last winters without a long sleeved jersey. I wore a long sleeved techwick shirt (you can get them at thrift stores - check the men's rack if you don't see any on the ladies' side) and put it under your regular short sleeved jersey. Sometimes I would throw a jacket on top.
I can do five more miles.

Catrin, our TJ Maxx stores have a BUNCH of SheBeest and Descente long-sleeved jerseys/jackets right now for about $30. Might be worth checking!

Heck, Performance Bike has some that are even cheaper than that, especially if you use one of their coupons, which they send out nearly daily/weekly.

    Another option to consider...

Today (only) L.L. Bean is featuring a quarter zip long-sleeved Polartec pullover that might be do-able (and more versatile) for $19.99:

Target has Champion G9 Duo Dry long sleeve pull overs in both mens and womens for $14. They work great as a base layer. Walmart has the Starter equivalent in mens for $10.

I don't wear long sleeved jerseys much either. When it is seriously cold I wear smartwool base layer and a heavier-than-a-jersey sweater from PI, and a shell.

When it's cool I wear a shell over a short sleever.
