    More in our region.

But the bulk of it so far, is within the city, not in the suburbs. Not sure what that means, but I really noticed that our suburbs except for 1 really do not even provide any public info. on their websites. One has to live there to know where stuff is. Or maybe it's just not a priority...which is hard to believe since there is prime ocean waterfront views for several suburban municipalities with boardwalks, etc.

City of Vancouver has a freakin' amount of outdoor public art. Tons...which am beginning to notice.

There may be part 3. Someone told me he had some more unique photos.

There is 1 particular area he said that has a photo which I'm curious... It has much lower cycling mode share.
Most interestingly some of the richest areas (meaning primarily single family dwellings) do not have much public outdoor art at all.

There are other poorer neighbourhoods with single family dwellings or low-rises that have lots...of such outdoor public art. Some are community art projects. This is such an example .

Update: I recently received a generous "donation" of more photos for more unique outdoor bike art in our region.

Of course the photographer will be credited but I'm abit humbled. I think some people just have great photo collections that depict their passion but they know some of this stuff will remain hidden if it's not brought to light.

Yes, the person is a regular cyclist. That's how he "discovers" this art.

I feel that way about parts of my photo collection --wonderful stuff I've seen with matching stories but have done nothing about it so far (except for bits on blogs or paintings I've tried.)
